Should a small business spend time on marketing?

In my opinion, there are ONLY 3 parts to every business.

  1. Operations/Admin (including finance)
  2. Production
  3. Marketing (including sales)

Simple, yes or yes?

Now if you (or your business) earns under 1 million dollars a year, listen closely because I want to share something extremely important with you…

And that is that your overall business success is directly tied to #3: Marketing.

If you want to earn a million dollars or more, then marketing is going to be the MOST important area to master.

Why? Because without marketing you have no customers and without customers you have no business.

You can have the best product or service in the world, but if no knows you exist, your product means squat.

Simply put, the primary reasons why businesses earn under a million dollars a year is because…

1) They don’t have a repeatable marketing system that works.

2) They aren’t spending enough time daily focused on money-making activities.

Which brings up a great question that I have for you today…

How much time do you or your company spend on marketing COMPARED to the other two parts of business (production and operations)?

Is it 5%, 10% or 20% of your time?

Or is it even more like 50% or 60% of your time?
